Back to the Future star James Tolkan dies aged 94
James Tolkan, known for Back to the Future and Top Gun, has died aged 94 after a remarkable acting career spanning decades.

A wonderful friend & neighbour, colleague & mentor to many.
A highly respected educator – Society & Environment Curriculum Manager SA Dept of Education & Children’s Services 1992-2008; inaugural member of Aust Gov Dept for the Environmental National Education Network that developed the Australian Sustainable Schools Initiative, had a lead role in establishing the Youth Environmental Council, SA; & was a writer of education packs with Reconciliation SA.
Past President Australian Geography Teachers Assoc; Past President & Life Member South Australian Geography Teachers Assoc; member Aust Assoc for Environmental Education, and CEASA.
David, a man of love, curiosity, joy and big ideas is now interwoven with the landscapes and stardust he so deeply belonged to, his essence surrounding us always.
