Mum, affectionately known as AhMa, was born in Penang, Malaysia, but by her teens, was already starting her incredible journey. Sent to Melbourne to complete school, she completed her PhD in comparative Zoology and, with dad, decided to stay. Not only did Chunnie, Wei and Jen have a fierce loyal mother, Mum looked after her siblings as they came to Melbourne.

She warmly welcomed Stephen, Jenny and Monika and then cooked for her grandchildren, Ethan, Olivia, Lauren, James, Christian, Stephanie.

Proud, feisty, loyal to the end.
