In 1985, Brian married Lynn Leonie Turley in New Zealand, they divorced in 1995 and had 1 son.
Brian moved to Australia in the early 2000's and became an Australian Citizen in 2020.
In 2015, Brian married Karen Michele Anderson while on a trip to Fiji. The couple were together for 11 years prior to their marriage.
Brian is survived by his widow, Karen Michele Anderson, Victoria, Australia; a son, Cameron Noel Ross Linkhorn, Wellington, New Zealand; a grandson, Kyden Braxton Lane, Wellington, New Zealand; an adopted grandson, Oliver Brooke, Wellington, New Zealand; 2 step(bonus)-daughter’s, Clarinda Katherine Harwood & Eloise Grace née Harwood (Bradley Frank Vey), Victoria, Australia; 2 step(bonus)-grandchildren, Ace Bradley Frank Vey & Arah Valmai Jennifer Vey, Victoria, Australia; a brother, Grant Ross Linkhorn, Queensland, Australia; along with 2 nephews and 2 nieces.
He was preceded in death by both his parent’s, Delwyn Ross Linkhorn & Yvonne Myrtle née Aston; a sister, Lynn Yvonne Linkhorn; and an adopted sister, Marie Nita née Linkhorn (Gary Brett Young).
Brian dedicated most of his life to helping people, working in fields like Fire Rescue & Patient Transport, among others and Volunteering with the local SES before his Cancer diagnosis.
He will be sorely missed by family and friends.
