With deep sadness we announce the passing of Sam Spurio, who died peacefully at Caritas Christi Hospice in Kew on the first day of 2026.

Sam was the loving husband of Mimma, proud father of Joe and Richard and daughters-in-law Sandra and Belinda, devoted Nonno of Olivia, Jessica, Claudia, Amelia, Chloe, Mark and Stuart, and besotted bis-Nonno of Mia and Ava.

He will be remembered by his family and many, many friends for his kindness, generosity, support and unstoppable humour.

He leaves a void too deep to fill but a lifetime of love, goodwill and happiness that will endure.
