From Heroes and Nashville to her candid final memoir, Hayden Panettiere leaves a body of work shaped by talent, vulnerability and determination.
17°CIt is with much sadness that we say farewell to our adventurous patriarch of the Tickell clan, Grandpa, Great Grandpa, Alan, ‘Mr Tick’, Dad, passed away peacefully, aged 95 years!
Widower to his childhood sweetheart, the late Jean Tickell, Father and father-in-law to Colin & Joan, Peter & Tricia, Geoffrey & Marsha, Stephen & Eils. Grandfather to 13 beautiful grown-up grandchildren, and 16 adoring great grandchildren.
Dad, your life was one lived through so much change, but you learnt to navigate it without prejudice or bias, and confronted all its challenges with optimism. Our friends and the greater community of Seaford, Frankston and the Mornington Peninsula is so much richer for having had you there through these times of change, and you will be missed by one and all. As a career Victoria Police Officer and active community member, you were the epitome of the self-made man, but humble to the end! A life so richly experienced. Here’s to Everest base camp, skiing the Bogong High Plains, and sailing the South Pacific! You did it all! RIP Dad!
