The family and friends of Budgie Schiller are warmly invited to attend a Celebration of His Life to be held at St John’s Lutheran Church, Eudunda on Saturday, 20th September 2025, commencing at 11.00am, followed by his burial where he will be reunited with his beloved wife, Melva.

In true Budgie style — “Done, Done, All Done!” — we anticipate a big crowd. For those who may not find a seat in the church, the St John’s Lutheran School Hall will be set up for overflow seating and livestream viewing, so everyone can be part of the farewell. Additional parking will also be available at the school.

Budgie was one of the best Auctioneers in the district, a larrikin with a quick wit and an even quicker tongue. He always said there would be a few who’d turn up “just to make sure I’m dead” — consider this your official invitation!
