WARNE, Jamie Stuart

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Jamie Stuart Warne, known to many as Bubba. He peacefully left us on the 23rd of August, 2025, at the age of 56.

Born on the 15th of May, 1969, to Ronald George Warne and Janice Olive Alchin (both dec.), Jamie grew up in a home filled with the laughter and love of his many siblings and large extended family. His life was rich with many strong friendships and unforgettable moments; an enduring testament to the joy he brought to those around him.

Bubba will be remembered for his crude sense of humour, his deep affection for those he held dear, his argumentative nature and the strength he displayed in his courageous battle over the past two years. Jamie’s ability to live life to its fullest, even in the face of adversity, left a lasting mark on all who knew him. A larger-than-life personality, Jamie’s memory will live on in the hearts of his friends and family, and he will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. His spirit will remain in the many lives he touched, and his legacy will continue to inspire.

A service to celebrate Jamie's life will be held at the Port Pirie RSL (294 The Terrace, Port Pirie West, SA 5540) on Friday, the 10th of October at 12:00 PM. In true Bubba fashion, we encourage all attendees to wear their best Carlton Blues attire to honour his loud, proud, and unforgettable spirit.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Palliative Care Team, Port Pirie (envelopes will be available at the service).
