The iconic Deni Ute Muster is gearing up for another unforgettable year.

Held on Friday, 2nd and Saturday, 3rd October 2026, with camping opening from Thursday 1 October, the Muster continues to cement its reputation as one of Australia’s most iconic regional events.
What began in 1999 as a grassroots community initiative designed to bring visitors to Deniliquin during a traditionally quiet long weekend has evolved into a world-renowned event attracting visitors from every corner of the country. The Deni Ute Muster remains deeply connected to its rural roots while continuing to evolve with the next generation of festival-goers.
The 2026 program promises two huge days of live entertainment, around-the-ground activations, ute competitions, camping, family-friendly experiences and a strong focus on showcasing regional Australia at its best.
Leading this year’s entertainment lineup are some of the biggest names in Australian and international country and contemporary music, including Tones And I, Lee Kernaghan and Tyler Braden (USA). They’ll be joined by a diverse lineup of established favourites and emerging artists, reinforcing the Muster’s commitment to delivering a broad entertainment experience that appeals to all generations.
But the Deni Ute Muster has always represented something bigger than music alone.
For many, it’s a rite of passage. For others, it’s an annual reunion with lifelong friends. Families now make up a growing part of the crowd, embracing an event that has transformed into a multi-generational experience while proudly maintaining the authentic spirit that made it famous.
Importantly, the event continues to deliver enormous benefits to the Deniliquin region and wider Riverina economy, driving tourism, supporting local businesses and creating opportunities for community groups, contractors, volunteers and charities. The event’s success reflects years of strategic planning, infrastructure investment and community collaboration.
The 2026 event will also introduce exciting new experiences and activations throughout ‘Muster Week’, further transforming Deniliquin into a vibrant entertainment and tourism destination across the entire long weekend.
Among the biggest additions is a brand new Thursday night ticketed concert event inside the new seated entertainment venue, The Grand Pavilion. Launching the weekend in spectacular style, The Ultimate Superstars of Country tribute show will feature powerhouse performances celebrating the music of Chris Stapleton, Luke Combs and Morgan Wallen, giving visitors arriving early even more reason to make the trip to Deniliquin.
With gates opening from 7pm, guests will be able to enjoy food trucks, licensed bar facilities and a full-scale production show beginning at 8pm, creating an exciting festival atmosphere ahead of the main event weekend. Importantly, the concert will also support the Deniliquin High School P&C as one of the Deni Ute Muster’s official 2026 charities, helping raise funds following the devastating school fire in November.
The initiative highlights the strong community spirit that has always underpinned the Muster, blending entertainment with genuine local support. A portion of every ticket sold will be donated directly to the P&C, while complimentary bus transport from town will also be included for non-camping patrons attending the concert.
The Thursday night event reflects the continued evolution of the Deni Ute Muster into a full week of entertainment, tourism experiences and community activations, with further CBD events and expanded family-friendly programming still to be announced.
From its iconic gates to the camping grounds, laughter, entertainment and music, the Deni Ute Muster remains one of Australia’s most unique and recognisable regional events, an experience built on Australian tradition, resilience and community spirit.
With strong ticket demand already underway, organisers are encouraging patrons to plan early and be part of what promises to be another extraordinary year in the Ute Capital of the World.
