Soul Chisel will headline the Carrie's Beanies 4 Brain Cancer fundraiser at the Mathoura Bowling Club in November.

Tickets are on sale now for Stone Cold, an outdoor concert fundraiser at Mathoura Bowling Club on Saturday, November 28, featuring three live acts and six hours of continuous music.

Mathoura Bowling Club manager Adam Parker said the event was inspired by a personal loss.
“My brother-in-law, Alex Harms, who was only 49, passed away from a glioblastoma tumour in January this year and left behind my sister and their two children,” he said.
“One of the reasons we chose to do this event was because I don't think there is enough awareness, and probably enough money, going towards brain cancer and tumours.”
The event will raise funds for Carrie's Beanies 4 Brain Cancer, with $5 from every ticket donated to the cause, alongside collection tins at the gate.
“We have reached out to Carrie's Beanies 4 Brain Cancer and have created an event through their website,” Mr Parker said.
Headline act Soul Chisel, an eight-piece rock band with a three-piece brass section, will perform Cold Chisel and Jimmy Barnes classics.
Fronted by Steve Cal, the band delivers powerful performances that capture Barnes’ unmistakable voice, passion and stage presence, taking audiences on a nostalgic journey through decades of classic Australian rock.
They will be supported by solo guitarist Kane Vincent and Echuca band Stumbling North.
Vincent is a talented solo guitarist and singer-songwriter, blending country, blues and folk influences with heartfelt storytelling, soulful vocals and captivating performances.
Stumbling North is a popular four-piece band known for impressive harmonies, classic pub favourites and feel-good performances.
They blend country, rock and singalong hits that keep audiences entertained across the region.
“In 2025, when we first held the outdoor concert, we had a Luke Combs tribute band, and we sold over 500 tickets,” Mr Parker said.
“We got such a great response, we thought, well let's have another go.”
Tickets will not be sold at the gate and must be purchased in advance through Humanitix, including for free camping from Friday, November 27.
“If you want a camping spot, my suggestion is to get in early, because it will fill up,” Mr Parker said.
