Located in End St, Deniliquin, it boasts a diverse range of facilities, including a The Brasserie restaurant, a cafe, gaming area, Keno, TAB and outdoor spaces, catering to all tastes and preferences.
Taking the time to eat at the local club will not disappoint, with highly experienced chefs, an inviting and accommodating service staff and amenities that other spaces don't offer.
The Brasserie offers a great range of menu options - including a South Asian cuisine night on Tuesdays and ribs night on Wednesdays - or you can get a lighter meal or sweet treat at the café.
As the weather warms up, the club is the ideal spot to escape the heat for a cool drink at the bar.
Inside in the air-conditioning is comfortable, but if you prefer the outdoors the misters in each of the beer gardens will do the trick too.
At the front of the club is the gaming lounge, which also provides plenty of space to sit and catch up, and there’s even a dance floor so you can make the most of the live music.
Throughout spring there’s live music three nights every week.
Among the performers are local artists like Shane & Sophie and Chris Bodey 4 Acts, and popular visiting musicians like Anthony Tenace, Ray Macartney, Flow Trio and Michael Hogan.
There’s also an open mic arvo on the third Sunday of each month.
In addition, the club hosts monthly special ticketed music events in the Dunlop Room.
This includes the Better Be Good To Me Australian Tina Turner Spectacular on Saturday, September 5 and INXSIVE - The INXS Tribute Show on Saturday, October 24. Tickets are $20 for members and $25 for non-members.
Better Be Good To Me Australian Tina Turner Spectacular will perform at the Deni RSL on Saturday, September 5.
The sports lounge at the rear is where you’ll find the TAB facilities, and extended further back in the club is a great family area which leads out into the larger of the two beer gardens.
This space is also where you will find the Little Diggers indoor playground, which turns into a supervised crèche on particular evenings.
Like any good RSL, there’s always opportunities for members and guests to go home a winner.
There’s raffles four days a week, bingo three days a week, and three weekly members’ draws.
There’s also trivia night on Tuesdays, Tri Poker and line dancing on Thursdays and, added in August, a social dart competition every Monday thanks to the Deniliquin Darts Club.
Members have the added advantage of enjoying daily Happy Hours between 5pm and 7pm, and monthly members’ birthday and swipe draws, as well as enjoying discounts on food and drinks. Local and interstate memberships are available.
The Deniliquin RSL Club’s friendly service doesn’t stop there.
A courtesy bus service runs whenever the club is open so that you arrive at the club and home again safely.
For more information about the club facilities, or to book tickets or a seat on the courtesy bus, call into the club in End St, Deniliquin or phone (03) 5881 1455.
Lachie Downes and Andy Pearn are just some of the live music acts that perform 3 days a week at Deni RSL.
