Gene Simmons has confirmed that the band have returned to the studio, revealing he and Paul Stanley have already recorded a new track.
During an episode of Kiss By Sienna by Sienna Hernandez, who acted as executive producer on 2017's Gene Simmons Vault box set, Simmons teased: "KISS is in the studio now. So we just recorded a new song that Paul wrote. I cannot tell you more about it. And that will be coming out at some point."
In a recent interview with Pollstar magazine, Simmons revealed their eagerly-awaited avatar show will feature new material alongside classics including Love Gun and Deuce.
He told the publication: "You are going to get all that stuff and also new songs written by us. We have songs done."
It's scheduled to begin in 2028, marking the next chapter in the band's post‑tour future as they continue to expand the KISS universe beyond the physical stage.
The veteran rockers called it a day after their End Of The Road concert at Madison Square Garden in New York on December 2, 2023, but surprised fans at the end of the gig by debuting digital versions of themselves created by the teams behind the technologically ground-breaking ABBA Voyage show.
