The event will begin with a barbecue from 3.30pm, before the main action starts at 4pm.
Eight brave locals will take an icy cold drenching to raise funds and awareness for Motor Neurone Disease.
This year’s line‑up includes two representatives from Edward River Council, one from CWS Removals, and five from IGA.
Auctions will be held, with the highest bidder earning the right to tip the bucket of ice water.
Organiser Telysa Towler said the community’s enthusiasm has only grown since the supermarket launched the challenge event last year.
“It was a big success last year, so this year we are going bigger and better,” she said.
Donations can be made in‑store at Ritchies IGA Deniliquin, with all funds going directly to FightMND.
The event carries added significance this year following the passing of Neale Daniher, the driving force behind FightMND.
Neale lived with MND for 13 years, and passed away last week at the age of 65.
Throughout his battle, he became a national symbol of resilience and hope, helping raise more than $100 million for medical research.
