The ski school is open to people of all ages, including children and adults wishing to take up or get back into the sport.
The first ski school session will be hosted Friday, November 3.
It starts at 5pm each Friday, with registrations expected to open soon via a new app.
Links will be available on the Deniliquin Boat Club Facebook page as soon as registrations open.
The first night of ski school is also the launch of the Deniliquin Boat Club’s social calendar, with live music and food vans available each Friday night.
Committee member Deb Macknight said these nights are open to the general public, and are ideal for local businesses or social groups looking for a relaxed venue for their Christmas parties.
“There will be a food truck and bar open between 5pm and 10pm, and tables can be booked for $10 per person.
“And if you’re choosing to decorate your table for the festive occasion, mention your booking to the team at Deniliquin Party, Pack + Wrap and they’ll give a 10 per cent discount.
“On these nights there will be meat raffles, and drinks will be available at bar prices.
“This concept is a fundraiser for the Boat Club, to help us with the flood clean up which is still continuing since the floods this time last year.
“It’s also about bringing the community together, and it really is a great spot to spend a Friday evening.”
Deniliquin musician Zech Walters will entertain at the Boat Club.
The Deniliquin Boat Club was underwater for several months over spring and summer last year.
The river peaked at 9.18m in November, which is just under major flood level for Deniliquin.
Macknight said the club’s pool has only just been repaired, and that the next big job is the pending repairs to the retaining wall.
Other flood damage is also yet to be rectified.
