Forty-five young people participated in four days of workshops with locals Ben Stonnill, Ellie Davis and Duncan Brown, and supported by Helen Dickie.
Together, they participated in drama games and skills exploration, workshops in dance and singing, and then wrote a musical titled The Trial of the Big Bad Wolf.
“The students wrote the play on Monday, learned it on Tuesday, practised it on Wednesday, and performed it on Thursday,” Mr Stonnill said.
“The production was fully student-led, including sound and lighting”.
Mr Stonnill also acknowledged the support of Jill Petzke for providing all costumes.
The performance was enjoyed by 120 family, friends and community members.
Berrigan Show Society brought back the holiday program in 2026 after reviewing the success of a similar program in 2024.
The committee acknowledged funding support from the Strawberry Fields Festival’s Local Community Grants Program.
