Edward River Council will host a community forum on April 26, known as a ‘visioning workshop’.
While attendance is capped at about 30 people, council would like to see representatives from a wide range of organisations and groups attend.
The workshop will be led by arts consultant Greg Hordacre.
“We invite you to roll up your sleeves and participate in a creative, practical, and fun process aimed at developing the principles, values and potential the Town Hall has to enhance community wellbeing, social connectedness, cultural and economic activity and liveability in the Edward River region,” council said.
“We want to involve a wide range of local organisations and this workshop will be focused on your participation and involvement.
“We plan to keep the total number attending to around 30. With this in mind, we suggest each group propose no more than two representatives.”
The workshop will be held in the Deniliquin Town Hall meeting room from 4.30pm to 7pm on April 26. Dinner will be provided.
