Between work, family, children and everyday commitments, finding time to focus on yourself isn’t always easy.
Women’s Health Week is a timely reminder that your health and wellbeing matter.
At Fitnow Gym, local women have access to a fantastic range of health, fitness and allied health professionals, all under the one roof.
One of Fitnow’s greatest strengths is the experienced women working within the facility, providing support across fitness, exercise, rehabilitation and general wellbeing.
• Physiotherapist Britt Kirby provides professional physiotherapy services on-site, helping with injury rehabilitation, pain management, mobility and returning safely to exercise.
• Accredited exercise physiologist Lainey Blake uses exercise to assist people with a wide variety of health and physical needs, providing an individualised approach to improving health through movement.
• Remedial therapist and personal trainer Nerisa Wills combines remedial therapy with fitness experience to help women look after their bodies while becoming fitter and stronger.
• Personal Trainer Monique Harrington, , provides additional support, motivation and guidance for women wanting to get started, return to exercise or take their training further.
Together, these women provide an impressive range of health and fitness expertise right here in Deniliquin.
Something Fitnow greatly prides itself on is being a genuinely staffed and active gym.
Fitnow is staffed Monday to Friday from 10am to 5.30pm.
During these hours, members will see Daniel, Abbie and Flynn around the gym, talking with members, answering questions and helping people on the gym floor.
You will also regularly see Britt, Lainey, Nerisa and Monique working in the gym with their clients.
The allied health and fitness professionals are part of the everyday activity of the facility, regularly using the gym and its equipment with the people they support.
It creates a great atmosphere, with staff, trainers and health professionals all working with members.
It also means there’s a friendly face nearby when you need some assistance, or even just a chat.
Fitnow also offers the convenience of 24/7 access outside of staffed opening hours.
Fitness for every stage of a woman’s life
There is no single definition of women’s fitness.
Your goal might be building strength and confidence, returning to exercise after having children, improving mobility, maintaining muscle and bone strength as you get older, recovering from an injury or simply having more energy for everyday life.
Women of all ages, abilities and fitness levels are welcome at Fitnow.
You don’t need to be fit already or know how to use every piece of equipment.
The team can provide guidance and individual exercise programs to help you feel comfortable and confident in the gym.
Self-care can mean taking time to rest and recharge, but it can also mean becoming stronger, moving more and investing in your long-term health.
With modern strength and cardio equipment, individual exercise programs and professional support, Fitnow gives local women the flexibility to make exercise work around their lives.
Whether you want to feel stronger, improve your fitness, increase your energy, return to exercise or simply start doing something positive for yourself, your health deserves a place on the priority list.
Memberships start from just $16.45 per week, with no joining fees and a free 24/7 access.
Members can access the gym using the Fitnow app or key fob, with a personalised fitness program included at no extra cost.
This includes a one-on-one consultation with a personal trainer who will develop your program and take you through it, giving you the confidence to continue your training independently.
