Also a round 15 clash this year, the Redeyes host Mathoura at Blighty Recreation Reserve tomorrow.
The clubs face off with similar stakes on the line as last season, and with similar records across all competitions.
The A-grade, B-grade and C-grade netball sides from both clubs will be playing for their first win of the season.
Meanwhile, matches in the under-17s, under-15s and under-13s netball will shape finals races.
The matches are between the seventh and eighth placed sides in the under-17 and under-15s, while it is fifth versus ninth in the under-13s.
Blighty has four more wins in the fourths, while Mathoura has one more win in the thirds and reserves.
In the seniors, both teams have one win. Both were against Katunga.
It is one win more than either side had when they met last season, which Blighty won 9.5 (59) to 4.12 (36).
Both sides will be searching for what will be their best chance of their second win of the season.
Mathoura have had closer results this season and have shown better performances, including a four point win over Katunga three weeks ago and eight point loss to Rennie two weeks ago under interim coach Clinton Atkinson.
Similarly, Blighty have shown improved results this season, including the 28 point win against Katunga two weeks ago and three of their first four losses by under two goals.
Mathoura’s last result was a 57 point loss at home to fourth placed Barooga, while Blighty went down by 35 points away to 13th placed Rennie last round.
Both sides will be out to bounce back this week.
Redeyes senior coach Dane Leyden said his side is keen to improve on last week’s effort.
“Firstly, credit to Rennie, they fought hard all day and were the better team.
“I was pretty disappointed in our effort. We didn’t bring what was required to win the match.
“A couple of free kicks went against us and it turned the game.
“We need to be better at stopping momentum.”
Leyden said they cannot afford to underestimate the Timbercutters’ challenge this Saturday, especially due to injuries.
“We need to show up to play; we won’t take Mathoura lightly.
“We have a few outs but can’t use that as an excuse.
“We need to put on a good show for our supporters.
“We have a few sore boys at this stage of the year, and unfortunately, we’re missing a heap.”
Saturday is Blighty’s Mental Health Match for Beyond Blue, which the club says is “about showing up for each other, starting those conversations and supporting those around us”.
It recognises that one in four young Australians will experience a mental condition in any year, which represents a significant portion of any community club.
“We are playing our role to go beyond the match and asking for your support by making a donation to a great cause,” the club said.
“There will be a cake stall (cash only) and donation tins around the club, or you can donate directly online at mentalhealthmatch.com.au/blighty-fnc.
“Every dollar raised will go towards funding Beyond Blue’s Support Service.”
