The A-grade runner-up was James Mclaurin with a round of square.
The ladies dominated B and C-grades.
Lyn O’Brien won B-grade with +1 from runner-up Phil Barnes on square, and Karen Butcher recorded +2 to win C-grade from runner-up Leanne Mulham on square.
Last Thursday was a stroke round, won by Shandra Simpson with net 71 on countback to Leanne Landy.
On Tuesday, it was Landy’s turn to finish at the front of the field in the front nine stableford with 15 points.
In Wednesday’s stableford event, the A-grade winner was Peter Joice with 39 points from runner-up Jaxon O’Donnell on 34; B-grade winner Jack McGrillen on 40 from runner-up Ken Maher with 38, and C-grade winner Angus Knuckey on 36 from runner-up Robert Landy with 34.
Coming up we have a fourball best ball tomorrow, then on Tuesday a 2-person ambrose back 9, Wednesday is stableford, Thursday is 2-person stableford multiplier and Saturday is stroke and the men’s monthly medal.
Thanks to everyone who helped out with the junior clinics last week.
Our junior program is going from strength to strength, which is being reflected in the number of juniors who are reducing their handicaps and featuring in the results each week.
In the clubhouse, the Flagstick Bistro continues to provide excellent meals at a reasonable price.
Winter trading hours are Wednesday to Sunday, with lunch from 11am to 2.30pm and dinner from 5pm to 8.30pm.
