A-grade went down, but the scoreboard certainly didn't reflect the effort and determination shown by the girls.
Meg Erickson played another outstanding game in what was her last match for the season.
Her precise passing, constant communication and ability to stay composed, no matter what is thrown at her make such a difference to our team. Meg always gives 100 per cent and should be incredibly proud of the season she's had.
Ash Charlton has really lifted over the past few weeks. Not only was she incredibly accurate under the post on the weekend, but she also stepped into centre again and gave absolutely everything for the team.
While it's tough coming second best week-after-week, despite all the hard work we're putting in, our ladies should be so proud of how much we've grown and the team we've become throughout the season.
Ella Charlton backed up an outstanding game in the under-15s with another fantastic performance in A-grade. She stayed calm under pressure, shot with great accuracy, and showed maturity well beyond her years.

B-grade: Blighty 31 def by Rennie 44.
In a closely contested game on Saturday, the ladies worked together to produce an outstanding performance against Rennie.
The score remained close within two goals at points throughout the match, making for an exciting contest.
In the midcourt, Dakini Hall played an integral role, creating space and ensuring there was always an option for the ball. She took on feedback throughout the game and worked hard to implement it.
Carla Crossley made a strong return from injury, stepping into wing defence and even taking a turn at centre when needed.
Eliza Weir stepped up from the under-17s and made a valuable contribution, bringing drive, determination, and giving her absolute all.
Nicole Felmingham also made a seamless transition out of the goal circle into wing attack, proving to be the missing piece in that role.
In goals, Alex Barry worked tirelessly to create scoring opportunities while providing great support for her teammates. She played out three quarters of her game at goal attack without complaint, showing resilience and commitment to the team.

C-grade: Blighty 17 def by Rennie 56.
The girls came out with positive attitudes, determined to enjoy their netball and give it everything they had.
The team worked tirelessly all day, never giving up and continuing to fight until the final whistle.
Krystle Winter was outstanding in WD and C, earning best on court after an exceptional performance. She never stopped working, showing her fitness, determination and relentless pressure all game.
Chook Watson was also spectacular in defence, collecting numerous intercepts and always being there when the team needed her most, and Rach Bucholtz never stopped moving in attack and shot some beautiful goals.
Mikayla Collie and Ciara D’Aprile continue to show fantastic improvement and are developing a great connection with the team. Their ability to transition the ball through the court created some wonderful passages of play.
Ruby Williams returned this week and reminded everyone of her defensive strength, using her height to great advantage and making life difficult for the Rennie shooters.
Bec Rourke was instrumental once again, and we’re certainly happy to have her back.
Emma Brain, Rach Bucholtz and Grace Reid showed just how well their combination is developing, working seamlessly together in and around the goal circle. Alena Lamour stepped onto the court in the final quarter and showcased her shooting ability with some very accurate finishing.

C-reserve: Blighty 14 def by Rennie 43.
C-reserve travelled through the fog to a beautiful sunny day at Rennie, feeling excited and determined to chase their first win of the season.
Unfortunately, it wasn’t to be this week. While Blighty played with plenty of heart, Rennie proved to be a strong opponent.
Jess Butcher had an outstanding game at centre, working tirelessly all day and providing plenty of drive through the midcourt.
Sarah Bain was excellent in wing attack, creating strong leads and moving the ball efficiently into the shooting circle, and Bronte O’Brien worked hard in WD and got some great intercepts.
In defence, Grace Ingram, Bec Rourke, Grace Macdonald, Renee Huckin and Juliet Barber were outstanding, applying relentless pressure and collecting numerous turnovers throughout the game.
Rennie’s accurate shooting made it difficult to convert those gains, but the defensive effort was exceptional. It was also great to have Belle Grant back working well in WA.

Under-17s: Blighty 27 def by Rennie 54.
Rennie has been a strong opponent in under-17s for some time. We knew the task would be tough, but our girls stood up and played a fantastic brand of netball and outscored our opponents in the third quarter.
Eliza Weir fought hard all day, helping direct play and encourage her teammates.
Lucy Pisasle was back from a week off and attacked well in the midcourt.
With two players away, two under-15s players were called up. Lily Petersen played wonderfully in the goal ring and Shelby Huckin took on any position with confidence.
Kyah Watson continues to grow, shooting well under pressure and focusing on strong movement in the ring.

Under-15s: Blighty 24 def Rennie 20.
It was a hard-fought contest from start to finish, with Blighty showing great enthusiasm and determination across all four quarters.
Every player contributed to the win, working together as a team and supporting one another in both attack and defence.
Their commitment and never-give-up attitude proved the difference, helping seal a well-earned four-goal victory.
Ella Charlton led the attack with a standout performance in GA. Her accurate shooting and strong movement kept the scoreboard ticking over.
Savannah Bain also provided excellent drive and creativity through the attacking end.
In the mid-court, Lexie Hines and Lexi Bucholtz rotated throughout centre with their speed and drive outplaying the Rennie defence.
In defence, Lily Petersen consistently pressured the opposition, causing multiple turnovers and delivering the ball back into attack with control.
Sophie Pearn stepped into GK to shut down the attack and limit Rennie's scoring opportunities.

Under-13s: Blighty 7 def by Rennie 34.
The scoreboard did not reflect the game played by the Blighty, who stepped up their defensive pressure and made smart passes throughout the game.
Indi Bain had a stellar game, stepping out of her usual shooting position into GD. Her defensive pressure and sticking tight to her player resulted in intercepts and turnovers.
Pippa Holden also played well in WD, putting pressure on her opponent and helping to bring the ball to our attacking end.
Peggy McKenzie created some excellent passages of play down the court, timing her leads and always being an option.

Under-11s (Minis): Not scored.
This week we celebrated Minis Day at Rennie and all the girls played an excellent game.
Keira Lankow played an exceptional game of defence, rebounding and creating turnovers for the team.
Millie Bucholtz and Lindsey Lankow took on the advice from coaches and put it into play, sticking tight with players and clearing out of the contest when needed and assisting with bringing the ball down the court.
