Boyd House has celebrating back-to-back athletics carnival success, as overall winners of the Deniliquin North School’s recent carnival.

Held at the Hardinge St oval, competitors came from Years 3 to 6.
The school were excited to add various novelty events throughout the day to keep every student engaged, entertained, and buzzing with Deni North school spirit.
It recognised that not every field event or running activity will be a favourite for all students, but encouraged enthusiastic participation.
Because the goal at Deni North is for every child to feel included, enjoy themselves, and know they are a valued part of the school community.
Teams were permitted team mascots to extra points were given for cheering and supporting teammates.
There was also a parachute game that had everyone shaking until the lollies came flying.
Place ribbons went to the houses that scored the most points in each event or game, and every student who participated and had fun earned points for their house.
The school thanked Tamara Blake and Bella Hunter for their help running the events, and Miss Harris for organising all the equipment.
The students were praised for their enthusiastic spirit and joy throughout the day.
