This weekend, the Deni Drovers take on Wagga City at Conolly Park in Wagga.
The Drovers are coming off two weeks off, and a competitive 0 to 17 loss to the Hay Cutters at home in the opening round of the season.
Wagga City won their first-round match 22 to 14 against Griffith, and soundly beat Wagga Agricultural College 70 to 0 last week.
Hay also had two weeks of wins in Hay and Griffith consecutively in the Southern Inland Rugby Union league.
Wagga City are a strong side, leading the competition in both the first, second and third grades of the SIRU competitions early in the season.
The weekend’s game will be a good test for the Drovers.
