Lone Wolf bikie Yusuf Nazlioglu was shot in the car park of his apartment building in Sydney's inner west in June 2022 and died in hospital.
Two men set an ambush in the underground car park in Rhodes, waiting until Nazlioglu and his wife returned before one of them ran out of their vehicle, repeatedly firing his pistol.
The 40-year-old was shot eight times, including twice in the head.
Abdulrahman Atteya, 33, was either the gunman or the driver at the time of the killing, while Mohammed Hosni Khaled, 28, helped plan the underworld hit job.
On Friday, almost one year after the pair were found guilty by a NSW Supreme Court jury, they were handed their fates for the "meticulous and sophisticated" murder.
Atteya was hit with a 34-year maximum head sentence with a non parole period of 25 years and six months expiring on December 13, 2048.
Justice Deborah Sweeney found the 33-year-old coolly planned and carried out the murder with ringleader Rabeih Baltagi, who has since fled Australia.
Atteya was directed by Baltagi out of loyalty and financial reward but the motive for the hit was unclear, the judge said.
Crown prosecutors at trial argued the murder was planned in retaliation over two stolen luxury vehicles.
"To kill a man over two cars is conduct which the community would rightly find shocking," Justice Sweeney wrote.
The judge declined to impose a life sentence on Atteya as urged by prosecutors.
While his conduct required significant punishment, it was not so extreme to warrant life behind bars, she wrote.
The judge also rejected attempts by the 33-year-old to reduce his sentence because of a brain injury acquired in 2011.
While he had indeed suffered from the injury, he deliberately performed poorly in testing attempting to show he had a cognitive disorder he did not have, the judge found.
Khaled knew of the murder plot but did not take part.
The 28-year-old surveilled the underground car park before the shooting, moved the getaway vehicles which included electric scooters, and set some of the car alight after.
He was sentenced to a maximum of 24 years behind bars, and his 18-year non-parole period will expire on January 18, 2042.
Justice Sweeney found Khaled's moral culpability was slightly reduced because his diagnosed dissociative condition meant he was more susceptible to being influenced by others.
