Robinson, who trains throughout the week with coach Kelvin Lubeck and his Seymour-based ‘Kelfit’ athletics stable, travelled to Brisbane last month for the 2026 Australian Little Athletics Championships, held across April 13 and 14, and put on a blistering show.
Coming away with two massive personal bests, Robinson claimed gold in the under-13 girls 200m final in a time of 25.04 seconds, an ALAC meet record and the third fastest under-13 girls time ever, before going on to help her Victorian team to gold in the 4x100m relay.
But it was in the under-13 girls 400m event that Robinson really shone, running another ALAC meet record of 56.55 seconds to walk away with a third gold medal across the two days of competition.
It was only this week, though, that Little Athletics Australia ratified Robinson’s time of 56.55 as the new Little Athletics Australia under-13 girls record, making the Broadford Secondary College student the fastest ever in her age group around one lap of the track.
Robinson’s whirlwind trip to the Sunshine State didn’t end there, with the dynamo going on to compete at the Australian Junior Athletics Championships the following day in the under-14 division, taking home silver in the 100m and bronze in the 200m, while also snaring gold in the 4x100m and bronze in the 4x200m mixed relay with her Victorian teammates.
The exploits should come as no surprise, though, given Robinson is already a two-time School Sport Australia Track and Field national champion, claiming both the 100m and 200m titles at the primary school nationals in Canberra last year.
