We had a slow start to the game, with the first quarter fairly even as both teams worked their way into the contest.
After regrouping during the quarter break, we were able to take control of the game and build momentum for the remainder of the match.
Annie Harvey was a standout across the court, making an impact in both attack and defence with her tireless effort and versatility.
Amelia Seignior was also busy throughout the game, creating multiple defensive turnovers and providing plenty of opportunities for the team going forward.
It was fantastic to see Phoebe Newman get some court time this week as she continues to develop and gain a feel for A-grade netball. She certainly didn’t look out of place and showed plenty of promise.
The highlight of the day was definitely the new outfits. All teams looked flash and represented the club proudly, making for a great day both on and off the court.

B-grade: Rams 36 drew Congupna 36.
It was a tight contest from the first whistle, with nothing separating the teams at the final siren as the game ended in a hard-fought draw.
It was a physical battle throughout, and we had to work tirelessly for every goal.
Our momentum took a positive turn when Mia Parks was moved into the goal circle, allowing Hannah McBurnie to shift into defence.
The change proved effective, providing us with greater balance across the court and helping us maintain pressure in crucial moments.
Katie Arandt also played a key role, making an important impact after moving out to Wing Defence.
Her defensive pressure and work rate helped disrupt the opposition's flow and created valuable opportunities for our team.
Overall, it was a determined team performance in a tough contest, with every player contributing to secure a share of the points.

C-grade: Deni Rams 37 def by Congupna 39.
Rams C-grade played a consistently strong four quarters on Saturday against Congupna.
They pushed Congupna until the final whistle, with the lead changing into the dying minutes.
The Rams were particularly strong with their defensive pressure across the court all game.

C-reserve: Deni Rams 27 def by Congupna 39.
Despite the loss, the match was highly competitive and showcased just how much this team has developed, with strong passages of play and great connections across the court.
Lucy Dudley was a consistent presence through the midcourt, driving play and delivering quality feeds into the attacking circle.
Temeka Macdonald took on a new challenge in GK and impressed with her defensive pressure, picking off intercepts and getting plenty of hands to the ball.
Hilary Porter was composed in the shooting circle, converting her opportunities with excellent accuracy and providing a reliable target in attack.

Under-17s: Deni Rams 61 def Congupna 25.
The Rams under-17s pulled together an impressive four quarters on Saturday against Congupna, with many positional changes made over the course of the game.
With a few players out this week, it was a great opportunity to utilise several of our under-15s players.
A big shout out to Arielle Hillier and Eva Maher who more than proved their capabilities at the higher level.
Zoe Circuitt was in terrific form and Sienna Elphick and Ava Marshall played their usual consistent and reliable game.

Under-15s: Deni Rams 16 def by Congupna 42.
With only seven senior players available, juniors Lexi Maher and Bailee Dunn stepped up brilliantly, proving they were more than ready for the challenge.
Arielle Hillier worked tirelessly in defence and made it hard for Congupna’s shooters.
Killarni Macdonald impressed at both ends of the court before shining in goals as our strong, steady target.
Maddy Woolston’s relentless one per cent efforts and work rate across the court certainly didn’t go unnoticed.

The girls delivered another amazing team performance, recording a strong win over Congupna.
Stevie Williams was outstanding in goals, shooting at a very high accuracy rate and making the most of every opportunity.
Lexi Maher showed great composure through the midcourt, working seamlessly with her teammates and creating strong attacking passages.
Indi Hillier displayed strength and determination through the centre, working hard defensively and slowing the opposition’s play when needed.
It was another phenomenal effort from the entire team, with everyone contributing across the court.

The whole team showed teamwork, effort and resilience.
Violet Murray worked tirelessly in defence, getting several turnovers.
Inkie Leech played wonderfully in attack and scored many goals, and Ruby Foley had wonderful drives and moved very well.
