Setting the tone from the outset, the Rams’ midfield proved far too strong, with East, Fitzpatrick, Henderson, MacDonald and Bull instrumental around the contest.

In a hard-fought contest, the Rams showed composure and efficiency going forward, making the most of their opportunities, while Rumbalara struggled to convert in front of goal.
A number of Rams players stood out, with Brett Macdonald, William Martin, Dean Macdonald, Jonty Tubb, Kai Hillier and Riley McLeod all playing key roles in the victory.
Dean Macdonald was particularly impactful up forward, finishing with three goals, while Greigan French added two majors to help drive the scoreboard pressure.

Deniliquin Rams under-14s delivered a dominant performance before their match was unfortunately called off late in the third quarter following a serious incident requiring the stretcher and ambulance for a Rumbalara player.
Lachie Tritton starred at centre half forward with a remarkable eight goals, while Angus Henderson (2) and Rocky Sztejman (2) were strong through the middle.
Henry Pisasale added a goal from the back flank, with Jaxon Rothe put up another strong performance in the forward line.
Jaxon Ives, once again, led well in the ruck, setting his team up at every centre bounce.
It was an impressive team effort, with all of their efforts at training being rewarded with a great win.

The Deni Rams under-10s kicked off their 2026 season in style with a fantastic game under lights at home against the Runnymede Rebels.
There was a real buzz around the ground as the young Rams ran out for their first match of the year, full of excitement and energy.
Right from the first bounce, the team displayed impressive teamwork, with Lars Dalzell and Luca Sztejman linking up beautifully with plenty of hand balling and smart ball movement across the ground.
Down forward, Asher Parson was a standout, proving a real handful for the opposition and finishing the game with six goals.
Bailey Cabral also shone with an excellent all-round performance, after slotting three goals and contributing strongly all over the field.
It was an excellent start to the season for the Rams, with every player contributing and enjoying their footy.
The future looks bright for this enthusiastic young group.
