B-grade recorded a convincing win against Blighty, setting the tone early with an impressive first quarter.
Strong communication in the defensive circle and consistent movement allowed feeders to create space and deliver accurate balls into the shooting circle.
The team adapted well to multiple positional changes and continued to extend their lead, driven by defenders working tirelessly to generate turnovers.
These were transitioned smoothly through the mid-court and converted with accuracy.
A special congratulations to Eve Meharry on her senior debut, which she approached with composure and class, integrating seamlessly into the defensive end.

It was a strong performance from the team this week.
They entered the game with a clear goal and worked cohesively to achieve it, demonstrating focus and determination from start to finish.
Taylor Wilkinson was dominant in the circle, providing a reliable presence under the post, while her connection with Elly Blake created a well-balanced and effective scoring combination.

Under-17s: Deni Rovers 30 def by Blighty 33.
The under-15s girls showed incredible commitment and great clubmanship this week, stepping up to play two games despite nearly the entire team under-17s team being involved in the local Deb Ball.
With only one regular player available, it was a challenging situation, but the girls rose to the occasion without hesitation.
It took some time for the team to settle and adjust to new combinations on the court and the first quarter reflected that, with the opposition gaining a 10-goal lead.
However, what followed was a display of determination, teamwork and resilience.
The girls regrouped, supported one another and steadily worked their way back into the game.
By the final whistle, they had reduced the margin to just a three-goal loss an impressive turnaround that speaks volumes about their character, effort and pride in their club.
The coaches were extremely proud of the way the girls handled the challenge and incredibly thankful for their willingness to step up when the under-17’s team needed them most.
Under-15s: Deni Rovers 40 def Blighty 9.
The under-15s had a big day out at Blighty, starting with their age group game.
Using the same game plan implemented last week, the team took the court focused on maintaining balance and keeping their play simple and effective.
Adapting to multiple positional changes each quarter, the girls rallied impressively.
They supported each other well across the court, showcasing strong front cuts and sharp, accurate passing.
The team responded positively to feedback at each break, steadily lifting their intensity and consistency as the game progressed.
Their effort across all four quarters was a testament to their teamwork and determination.
Overall, it was another solid team performance, with great signs of growth and cohesion as the season continues.

Under-13s: Deni Rovers 42 def Blighty 5.
The Under-13s Rovers were able to have a successful round 3, securing the win against Blighty.
A strong first quarter in defence saw the girls keeping their opponents from scoring, creating a 13-0 lead.
Defenders Isabella Goodear, Bella Leetham and Pallas East were able to repeatedly dictate and control the pace of the game, limiting scoring opportunities and turning the ball over.
Shooters Indi Conallin, Harper Bulmer and Maddison Danckert all combined well to create cohesive combinations and put up goal after goal.
Working throughout the centre and midcourt, Khoa Unwin, Peggy O’Donnell, Sophie Bulmer and Laila White created seamless flow and transition, providing the team with varied and skilful opportunities.
The girls continue to work hard building their skill and repertoire across the court, translating their training into successful game-day play.

A great effort from the team today with a focus on improving footwork, defending distance (three feet before hands up) and driving forward strongly for the ball.
Midway through the game, players were encouraged to take the shot for goal instead of always looking for a pass and they showed great confidence doing so.
The team demonstrated wonderful sportsmanship, encouraging each other and sharing plenty of high fives during breaks.
A fantastic display of teamwork and improvement, well done everyone.
