Winning the toss and batting first, the Rhinos started well but lost the wicket of opener Hamish Baker for two, bowled by Andrew Arthur, at the end of the third over.
Boddie Arthur was next in and got off the mark from his second ball.
Arthur and the other opener Lachlan Holloway got to the 13th over before Arthur was out for 17, to Lachlan McDonald caught by Brandon Meloury.
Next batter Melisha Deshapriya and Holloway then led the way getting to the 23rd over reaching 2/112.
Holloway was then given out LBW off Andrew Lean, top scoring with 71 off 74 balls including seven fours and two sixes.
Incoming batter Griegan French picked up from where Holloway finished up, batting well with Deshapriya.
The pair got to the 41st over and took the score to 3/217 before Deshapriya was caught out for 70 by Cooper Harris, off the bowling of Sam Bennett.
Charlie Hillier was next to bat and, with only four overs, made a six and seven other runs before being caught by McDonald off Bennett’s bowling.
After 43 overs, the Rhinos were 5/234 and then made three off their penultimate over.
In the last, French made 16 off four balls before being stumped by Joshua Wraight off Bennett.
He ended with 64 off 60 balls, with five fours and three sixes.
Off the final ball of the innings, Darcy Finn was run out after making two and playing his role.
Joice Mathew was not out without scoring and the Rhinos finished their batting innings of 45 overs at 7/253.
Chasing a big target, Tocumwal never really got going in their batting innings.
Mathew struck to remove Wraight with the second ball of the second over for two, caught by Deshapriya.
Charlie Hillier then had Reilly Rennick out for six in the third over, caught by wicketkeeper Arthur.
Both opening bowlers struck again with Mathew bowling Lean and Hillier getting Harris caught by Mathew.
After 13 overs, Tocumwal were 4/34.
From there, batters Brandon Meloury and McDonald saw off the Rhinos’ bowling until the 34th over.
It was Finn who removed McDonald for 37, caught by Baker for 37, to have Tocumwal 5/95.
After Deshapriya had Brandon Meloury caught out for 22 by Anthony Bradley, the Rhinos ripped through the Tocumwal tail.
Later that over Deshapriya had Bennett out LBW for a duck.
Baker then had Tom White caught by Arthur in the next over for a golden duck.
Holloway finished the match for the Rhinos, bringing himself on to get rid of Declan Cameron, caught by Charlie Hillier, and Andrew Arthur, caught by Darcy Finn in consecutive balls.
This had Tocumwal all out for 109 off 36.4 overs.
The A-grade Rhinos have the bye this week.
