Fred claimed first place in the High Handicap Tournament at Cairnlea, Victoria, playing Association Croquet on the weekend of September 20.
Sixteen players attended the club's social play day on Sunday, September 27.
Just two days before celebrating his 90th birthday, John James produced a winning performance to take out first place.

Frank Connallin also provided one of the highlights of the day, with a successful jump shot.
Wednesday's play was affected by Ute Muster activities, with only eight players making it to the courts.
With numbers reduced, only two games were played.
Honours were shared by Peter Whittakers and Bob White.
In pennant competition, the Deniliquin White team remains in a strong position, sitting second on the ladder with 58 points, while the Deniliquin Blue team is ninth with 33 points.
