A-grade faced another tough challenge against Katandra this week, going down 15 to 91.
Despite the scoreboard, the girls continued to work hard and showed great determination throughout the game.
Meg Erickson played a fantastic game in WA, executing set plays beautifully and providing plenty of drive through the midcourt. She is the kind of player who works well with everyone around her and always brings a positive attitude to the court.
After an injury a couple of weeks ago, Ash Charlton returned at full capacity and made an immediate impact in the goal ring with her accurate shooting and strong presence.
It was also great to welcome Ava McInnes back after a few weeks away. Thrown straight into defence, Ava settled in quickly and worked tirelessly, showing great commitment and effort all game.

B-grade: Blighty 28 def by Katandra 73.
The ladies arrived Saturday ready to compete and determined to deliver a strong performance.
They worked tirelessly throughout the game, with everyone continuing to fight hard regardless of the scoreboard.
A particular highlight was at the attacking end, where the girls effectively used a screen when a defender was out of play outside the goal circle, capitalising on the opportunity each time.
In defence, Georgia Moody showed great determination, working hard all game to create turnovers for her team.
Dakini Hall and Siale Pitson were relentless through the midcourt, applying pressure and making their opponents work hard for every possession. Siale’s communication and voice were especially valuable.
Alex Barry demonstrated her versatility by playing at both ends of the court, making a positive impact in each position she took on.

C-grade: Blighty 25 def by Katandra 45.
C-grade were determined to come away with a win, but Katandra proved too strong.
A few unforced errors from Blighty made the task even tougher.
The girls put together a strong first half and worked hard to match Katandra’s intensity.
A challenging third quarter hurt our momentum, but the team showed great character by finishing strongly and producing an excellent final quarter.
There were some fantastic passages of play throughout the game, along with strong defensive pressure across the court.
Ruby Williams was back in action and worked tirelessly in GK, collecting numerous turnovers and rebounds.
Suzette Van der Berg was sensational in GD, applying constant pressure and never giving her opponent an easy possession.
The midcourt battled hard all day in what was a tough contest.
Ciara D’Aprile and Mikayla Collie worked tirelessly through the centre, while Krystle Winter was relentless and never stopped competing.
In attack, the girls continued to create opportunities. Grace Reid was impressive, positioning herself well and feeding beautifully into the ring. She also spent time in GS, where she showcased her versatility and accuracy with some terrific goals.
The partnership between Rach Bucholtz and Emma Brain continued to grow, with both players working hard all game and providing plenty of drive and determination.
A special mention to Izzy Pearn, who stepped up to play with the C-grade girls and had a great impact in GK.

C-reserve: Blighty 9 def by Katandra 59.
The C-reserve girls knew they were in for a tough contest. With a couple of players unavailable and the threat of rain hanging around, the team were determined to play their own game and match it with a well-drilled Katandra side.
Unfortunately, there were too many missed balls and a few basic skill errors that proved costly.
Despite this, the girls never stopped trying and continued to work hard right until the final whistle.
Grace Ingram managed to put in a solid effort and keep up with her opponents, and Juliet Barber continues to improve each week.
Carissa Godfrey, Renee Huckin and Bronte O’Brien also worked tirelessly in defence, but the opposition was simply too strong.
Through the midcourt, Sarah Nihill worked hard and is showing great improvement and Alena Larmour was relentless in her efforts, working tirelessly to drive the ball into attack.
Sarah Bain worked hard both in WA and WD, showing how versatile she is, and junior player Catie Michael once again made an immediate impact when she stepped on the court.

Under-17s: Blighty 34 def by Katandra 56.
From the get-go, our girls served a fantastic brand of netball - direct and disciplined in attack, followed by some lovely goals in the ring.
We kept within eight goals of a top side by half time, keeping them on their toes and causing them to make position changes.
Unfortunately, the foot came off the pedal in the third quarter. We recollected in the final term, but it was too late.
Eliza Weir was solid in the midcourt, and Amelia Hay showed plenty of flare in attack and goal shooting.

Under-15s: Blighty 32 def Katandra 19.
Blighty's under-15s team produced an impressive all-round performance to defeat Katandra in a strong display of teamwork and determination.
From the opening centre pass, Blighty’s Lexie Hines and Lexi Bucholtz set the tone with excellent defensive pressure and accurate passing through the midcourt.
The shooters made the most of their opportunities, with Ella Charlton’s accuracy converting consistently and helping Blighty build an early lead.
Katandra worked hard to stay in the contest, but Blighty's defence, led by Lily Petersen, was outstanding. Strong intercepts, rebounds and relentless pressure forced turnovers, allowing Blighty to transition quickly into attack.
The team's ball movement and communication continued to improve as the match progressed, with every player contributing to the result.
Blighty maintained control in the second half, extending their lead with disciplined play and accurate shooting.

Under-13s: Blighty 34 def Katandra 13.
The under-13s had a cracker of a game on Saturday, but there were a few challenges, with Katandra boasting a strong shooting circle.
Our defensive unit quickly identified this and worked tirelessly to slow them down, creating plenty of turnovers and opportunities for our goalers.
For several weeks we've been encouraging the girls to lead and clear with confidence, and our midcourt players did a fantastic job of putting this into practice all game.
Our shooters were outstanding all day. No matter the combination on court, the girls worked beautifully together.

Blighty under-11s took on Katandra in a great game of netball, with all players showing enthusiasm, teamwork and determination throughout the match.
The team worked hard across the court, demonstrating their improved skills and strong support for one another.
Keira Lankow’s agility and skill across the court created opportunities, and she worked tirelessly in both attack and defence.
Alice Doherty had an excellent performance, showing growing confidence and determination.
Jasmine De Silva showed strength in defence, applying pressure and making it difficult for the opposition to score.
