Seventeen Deniliquin Croquet Club members played on Sunday, with Rod Fawns being declared the outright winner on a countback from Allan Tonta and Leo Barry, second on a tie.

The two game achievers were Carol David, Frank Conallin, Judy Barry, Garry Brose, Peter Whittakers and Andy Davis.
There were eight jump shots distributed between five players.
Brian Dudley scored three, Andy Davis two, and one each by Frank Conallin, Leo Barry and Garry Brose.
Both Carol David and Judy Barry each scored a hoop-in-one shot.
A cooler day saw numbers back to 12 on Wednesday.
Peter Whittakers was the lone three game winner on the day.

On both days, a new form of the game was introduced, Snake in the Grass.
The purpose of the format is to improve strategic play. The concept proved popular with members.
The fourth round of the Challen cup is scheduled for this Sunday, June 21.
This game is a singles format using the advantage play handicap system.
The afternoon time of 12.30pm for a 1pm start applies.
The second round of Croquet Victoria training is scheduled for Thursday, June 25 and Friday, June 26.
