The legendary garland event will take place at the city’s Showgrounds, bringing together petrol heads from across Victoria and beyond for a unique automotive-themed celebration between November 27-29.
The festival has grown exponentially from its humble beginnings as a Show & Shine event hosted outside the Peppermill Hotel and is now celebrating over 30 years as a regular fixture on the Australian motoring calendar.
This time out, visitors will be treated to a range of driving competitions from Go to Whoa - a fast-paced challenge - through to Autokana - a timed event testing the skill and control of each participant.
In addition, fans will be treated to the spectator-favourite Grab a Flag event, alongside the Burnout Competition, which is viewed by many as the headline draw at Springnats this year.
The Burnout Competition will feature a new-for-2026 twist with 20 entrants selected as Invitational Burnout Entrants, which this set to promise even more entertainment for those present.
To add further reason for excitement, this year’s SpringNats has been announced as a Burnout Masters Qualifying event.
“We're pumped to announce that SpringNats 2026 will be an official Burnout Masters qualifying round,” a statement from SpringNats organisers read.
“Time to bring your A-game, put on a show and fight for your shot at Burnanza.”
The full weekend festival will feature food trucks, market stalls, trade stands, kids' activities, and more, while those present can also check out some of the country’s most creative custom build cars at the Show & Shine event.
Moreover, entrants will cruise through the streets of Shepparton to herald the arrival of participants from far and wide before the popular Aussie Hotel display gives the public a rare opportunity to see the cars up close.
Entries for SpringNats 2026 opened at 1pm on June 21, with more information available via their website.
